How the Vendor Directory Works

📄 How Vendors Are Listed

The FranchiseStack vendor directory is a self-reported marketplace. This means:

Vendors create their own listings by submitting a profile through our onboarding form.
All information — company description, certifications, years of experience, service areas, and verification links — is provided by the vendor themselves.
FranchiseStack does not independently verify every claim made by a vendor before listing.
Listings are reviewed by our team before activation to check for obvious policy violations, but this is not a full credentialing process.

FranchiseStack does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legitimacy of any vendor listed in this directory. Always perform your own due diligence before engaging a service provider.

🔗 What Verification Links Mean

Vendors are required to provide at least one external verification link when creating a listing. These links are intended to point to third-party sources that support the vendor's claimed credentials, such as:

LinkedIn company or personal profile
State bar association directory (for legal professionals)
Better Business Bureau (BBB) profile
IFA (International Franchise Association) member directory
SBA preferred lender registry
Professional association membership pages
State licensing boards

What verification links do NOT mean

Verification links are provided by the vendor and link to external sites FranchiseStack does not control. A link being present does not mean FranchiseStack has confirmed it is accurate, current, or that the vendor is in good standing. We recommend clicking through and confirming the details yourself.

⭐ Listing Tiers Explained

Vendors choose a paid subscription tier when listing. Higher tiers mean greater visibility — not greater vetting.

Basic ($249/mo): Standard directory listing with company profile and contact form.
Premium ($499/mo): Enhanced placement, premium badge, lead inbox, and review collection tools.
Spotlight ($899/mo): Featured placement at the top of the directory, homepage feature, and co-marketing opportunities.

Tier does not equal quality

A Spotlight vendor has paid for higher visibility, not a higher standard of verification. Evaluate all vendors equally based on your own research and due diligence.

⚠ How to Report Bad Actors

If you encounter a vendor in our directory who:

Makes false or misleading claims in their listing
Engages in deceptive, fraudulent, or predatory business practices
Violates any applicable law or regulation
Harasses or misrepresents themselves to franchise owners
Falls into a prohibited category (see below)

Please report them immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate within 5 business days. Confirmed policy violations result in immediate removal.

📤 Report a Vendor Issue

Reports are sent to franchisestack@polsia.app. Include the vendor name and a description of the issue. We may follow up for more information.

🚫 Prohibited Vendor Categories

The following types of vendors are not permitted in the FranchiseStack directory:

Pyramid / MLM schemes

Unregistered investment advisors

Payday or predatory lenders

Identity theft services

Fake review services

Unlicensed attorneys or CPAs

Competitors mimicking FranchiseStack

Vendors under active fraud investigation

If you believe a listed vendor falls into one of these categories, please report it immediately.

⭐ How Reviews Work

Vendor reviews are submitted by FranchiseStack users who have engaged with a vendor's services. Key facts about reviews:

Reviews are only published after a moderation review.
Reviewers must have a FranchiseStack account to submit a review.
Vendors cannot edit or delete reviews.
Reviews that violate our content policy (spam, harassment, irrelevant) will be removed.
FranchiseStack does not verify that a reviewer actually used the vendor's services unless they are flagged as "Verified Engagement."

FranchiseStack receives subscription fees from vendors listed in this directory. This is a paid directory — vendors pay to be included and pay more for higher-visibility placements. The presence of a vendor in this directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or certification by FranchiseStack, Inc.
